Are you ready to join our international team as a BI Software Engineer? We shall tell you why you should.

 

 

As BI Software Engineer, you will join a cross-functional development team that is building a new modern data warehouse solution in Azure Synapse Analytics. You will also be working with an on-premises Microsoft SQL Server data warehouse solution, which is the powerhouse for both client-oriented and internal Excel and Power BI reporting. You will work in an agile environment, interacting with both internal and external stakeholders to establish business needs.

 

 

You will be:

 

  • designing and implementing a cutting-edge modern data warehouse solution in Azure Synapse Analytics,
  • building and optimizing BI software features while ensuring compliance with functional and non-functional specifications,
  • modeling and structuring data for advanced business analytics,
  • cooperating with highly qualified business specialists and developers,
  • delivering clean, easily maintainable code and performing review of code written by your colleagues,
  • working on continuous improvement of software development process, including code and architecture standards,
  • pursuing technical excellence, learning from experts and sharing your knowledge with your colleagues.

 

 

We are a GOOD match if you:

 

  • Have hands-on experience with Azure Synapse Analytics or Databricks for data integration, warehousing and analytics.
  • Have experience in modeling data to support business intelligence, analytics, and data warehouse architectures
  • Have expertise in T-SQL for ETL processes, performance tuning and data manipulation.
  • Have strong coding skills in Python, especially in PySpark, for scalable data engineering.
  • Possess BI skills, including business requirements gathering, analysis, critical thinking, followed by solution design.

 

 

We will be a PERFECT match if you, additionally:
 

  • Have Experience building scalable data integration solutions using Azure Synapse Pipelines or Azure Data Factory.
  • Have experience with SAP and/or ServiceNow systems
  • Can communicate effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Can manage time efficiently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Are eager to learn new technologies and adapt to changes.
  • Can collaborate effectively with teams and understand business needs.
