Senior BI Developer / Databricks + Genie and/or AI Foundry

We are looking for a highly experienced, hands-on Senior BI Developer with deep expertise in Azure Databricks and practical experience applying AI to data solutions. This is a priority recruitment for a senior professional who combines strong modern data knowledge with the motivation to design, build, and maintain solutions directly.

 


More about the product:

 

You will contribute to the development and maintenance of a data warehouse environment. Your work will include onboarding new data sources into data pipelines and developing data-focused solutions based on Genie and AI Foundry.

Your responsibilities:

 

  • Develop and maintain the data warehouse.
  • Add new data sources to existing data pipelines.
  • Configure and develop solutions based on Genie and AI Foundry.
  • Work hands-on with modern data and AI technologies

 

 

Personal Requirements:

 

  • Very strong, senior-level experience with Azure Databricks.
  • Practical experience with Genie and/or AI Foundry.
  • Experience using AI in a data context.
  • Motivation to remain hands-on while working at senior level.
  • Knowledge of modern data solutions.
  • At least basic SQL skills.
  • Advanced SQL skills are an advantage.

We follow Agile principles in our work – we generally work in bi-weekly iterations and produce production-ready functionalities at the end of each iteration. In some cases, we work in a project mode.

  • We have end-to-end responsibility for the features we develop – from business requirements, through design and implementation up to running features on production.
  • Our team is cross-functional (7 people) – we develop, test, build solutions and pipelines, maintain features they have built and are in contact with internal stakeholders.
  • More than 50% of our work is spent on new product features.
  • Teams’ own domains in the solution and the corresponding system components.
