About the Job

We are looking for a skilled developer with design experience to join one of our development teams, where we create and deliver complex solutions to life and pension customers in Denmark. Currently, we are on a journey to develop a brand-new solution that will keep our products competitive and support our customers' business for years to come.

We are currently seeking an experienced UX/UI Developer to join our team and enhance the user experience of our system. As a UX/UI Developer, you will play a pivotal role in creating intuitive and engaging user interfaces, collaborating with developers and stakeholders to ensure seamless product flow, and maintaining design consistency across all our products.

The Team

Our team consists of developers and a product owner and is supported by a development director and a business line manager. We work in an informal yet professional and ambitious environment with highly skilled colleagues from diverse backgrounds. The atmosphere is characterized by collaboration, openness, positive energy, and a good sense of humor. We truly enjoy working together, and the team is eager to welcome a great new colleague.

The Product

You will join Edlund's R&D organization and take ownership of LIFELINK—our key module for efficient policy administration, supporting the entire policy lifecycle in the Life & Pension sector. LIFELINK is the market's leading calculation engine, designed for scalability, automation, and seamless integration with Edlund's full solution suite.

The solution supports the most widespread pension products in Denmark, including market rate, average rate, lifecycle products, and unit-linked products.

Your Responsibilities

As our new UX/UI developer, you will need to build a strong business understanding of our components and have the ability to translate complex problems into effective solutions. Your tasks include:

  • Collaborating with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand user needs and business goals.
  • Designing intuitive and engaging user interfaces for our SaaS solutions, ensuring a seamless user experience.

  • Participating in sprint planning, code reviews, pair programming, and continuous improvement practicesEstimating development effort for features.
  • Building solutions that are resilient, maintainable, and optimized for both performance and user experience.
  • Contributing to team culture and helping strengthen engineering excellence locally and across borders.

Qualifications
