Cloud Developer

Ballerup, DK, 2750

At KMD, we build digital solutions used by millions of people around the world. These solutions are the digital foundations of our most important institutions, from governments and public services to financial industries and private companies. Our mission is to ensure that they are reliable, accessible, and efficient.

We believe that the future is what you make it. So a career at KMD is a career with purpose and freedom. One where you’ll have a direct hand in improving the lives of people, while being empowered with the resources and autonomy to shape the course of your own professional journey.

About the job:

Do you want to be part of one of Denmark’s largest IT companies? Do you want to develop both personally and professionally? Do you have previous experience as a Cloud Developer? Then you might be the one we are looking for!

Be a part of the Human Capital Management Cloud Development Department!

The purpose of our team is to build an Industry Cloud Platform (ICP) product that can be used by all the products in our business unit which delivers products to the Danish public sector. The ICP product is based on a code first, cloud agnostic, and open-source strategy developed using C#/.net and Pulumi which is an Infrastructure as Code framework. The team also helps other application development teams move their products to the ICP using various cloud migration strategies (re-host, re-platform..., etc.).

So, if you are comfortable finding your way without a map, feel at home in innovation projects, and can operate at all levels of an organization, you might be our new Cloud Developer.

Join us in this role and be part of the team that drives the cloud strategy in KMD and helps the different product teams. The team plays a major role in the future success of product strategy in the Human Capital Management business unit.

You will join a cross disciplinary team with a flat hierarchy and close collaboration. We are a team of 4 people placed in Ballerup, and you will be working from our headquarter in Ballerup. We expect the team to grow significantly in 2025 due to the demand for various products.

  • Keeping an eye on what is happening across product teams in the architecture domain - challenge and be challenged.

We want you in our team if you:

  • Have experience as a Cloud Development (or similar) with demonstrable experience working in public, commercial, and/or industrial sectors.
  • Have a demonstrable understanding of architecture principles, enterprise-grade service design patterns, and best practices across public, private, and/or hybrid clouds.
  • Are curious about people, products, and technologies and can use your curiosity to shape and execute new projects and see business opportunities through new technology.
  • Are experienced in communicating with top-level executives, business stakeholders, and external customers.
  • Are fluent in English and Danish.

It would be nice if you tick some of these boxes:

  • Have 2+ years of experience in application architecture design and infrastructure design (hands-on).
  • Experience using Linux and other Open-source software
