About the job
 
Do you want to have a central role in an international organization, where you will be challenged with a wide range of tasks within finance? As the new Group Financial Controller, you will be part of KMD’s journey towards optimizing existing and new processes in the Accounting and Controlling function with your strong professional skills. 

You will join the Group Reporting team which currently consist of six engaged and skilled employees. The Group Reporting team has a central role regarding internal and external reporting, consolidation, forecasting and CSRD. 

 

Your responsibilities include among other things:


•   Month-end and year-end-closing including consolidation in SAP Group Reporting and other reporting tasks

•   Ensuring compliance with IFRS and Årsregnskabsloven

•   Preparation/review of audit documentation and being responsible for local financial statements

•   Preparation and review of monthly balance reconciliations

•   Develop and maintain internal policies, procedures and internal controls on group level, ensuring compliance with group accounting policies

•   Participation in Internal and External Audits

•   Participation in accounting projects across the organization

•   Help on CSRD reporting tasks

•   Cash management, cashpool og cashflow forecasting

•   Internal reporting

•   Working with subsidiaries

•   Ad hoc accounting and audit tasks.

 

The role is rooted in the Finance department, where we have a strong focus on being compliant within several areas and focus on doing our compliance tasks most efficient e.g. by using new technologies. 

You should also expect to build strong relationships with many stakeholders working with reporting such as our global owners, the NEC Corporation, and internal stakeholders in the business and in back-office functions.
 
In other words, KMD offers a unique opportunity to help shape KMD's further development within Finance.

 

About you


To succeed as Group Financial Controller, it is necessary that you have a strong understanding of accounting and insight in audit processes. Being proactive and responsible for several finance and accounting tasks with a keen sense of high quality in deliveries is crucial for this position. Furthermore you have experience in optimization and automation of processes within finance and accounting.

 

You most likely have a HD (R) or master’s degree in finance, accounting or auditing, or a related field and proven experience of +3 years within audit or finance/accounting.

 

Most importantly, we are looking for a detail-oriented candidate who thrives in a position where compliance, accurate communication and optimization is the focus. 

 

In addition, you show independent initiative, commitment, decisiveness and have a good overview.
