Product Data Insights Lead

Ballerup, DK, 2750

At KMD, we build digital solutions used by millions of people around the world. These solutions are the digital foundations of our most important institutions, from governments and public services to financial industries and private companies. Our mission is to ensure that they are reliable, accessible, and efficient.

We believe that the future is what you make it. So a career at KMD is a career with purpose and freedom. One where you’ll have a direct hand in improving the lives of people, while being empowered with the resources and autonomy to shape the course of your own professional journey.

Do you want to turn complex insights into software that makes a real difference to millions of citizens?

Do you have a background in data research and a sharp analytical mind? Can you turn customer research, usage data and competitive signals into evidence that helps product managers act on the right thing at the right time, whether that's a new product or an improvement to an existing one? Then this could be your next role at KMD.

About the role

As Product Data Insights Lead, you carve out the data that matters from the noise around it e.g. customer research, usage patterns, customer feedback, value-hypothesis tests, and competitive and market signals and turn it into clear reports and tools that Product Managers can act on.

At its core, the job is analytical: you build the data foundation that shows how people really use KMD's products, where they get stuck and what to build or improve next. You decide what counts as solid evidence and make sure it reaches the right people, in the right shape, at the right time.

This is a hands-on role in our product portfolio governance team, where you'll work closely with product, tech and commercial leaders to make things happen.

Your tasks

  • Provide evidence-based input to product decisions by combining customer research, usage analytics, churn drivers and value-hypothesis testing, for both new product opportunities and improvements to existing ones
  • Identify usability issues, friction points and bottlenecks in the user journey, and surface them to product management with enough clarity and timing to act on
  • Turn validated insights into practical input for the roadmap
  • Own the metrics for usage, adoption and churn • Bring AI and new ways of working with product data insights to sharpen our understanding of users and set the standard for how PMs use it
  • Build scalable dashboards and reports together with the data team What you bring • Strong SQL and data modelling skills (e.g. star schemas) to build clean, reusable datasets
  • Hands-on experience extracting, transforming and loading data into Power BI (Power Query, DAX)
  • Solid statistical skills and an eye for the usability problems hiding in the data, not just the numbers
  • Experience combining user insight (feedback, interviews) with usage data
  • Experience building AI agents or LLM workflows, good judgement on when to trust the output, and the drive to bring this into how product management works
  • 3-4 years of experience working with Saas products will be an advantage

What we offer

  • A central role in helping KMD's product teams spot the right opportunities at the right time with real impact on how we understand and use data and insight across product
  • Close collaboration with product management and senior stakeholders across the organisation
  • Flexible working conditions and a healthy focus on work-life balance
