Then the job as senior project controller in KMD might be your next job. You will get a lot of responsibility from day one and you will work closely with your colleagues in Finance, the project team and top management.

 

About the job:

In KMD we run large IT developments projects to continually improve our business. The projects develop our existing software to existing customers, but we are also developing new software to new customers. The projects are mainly for our Danish market involving both the energy sector, public sector and other sectors.

 

We experience increased complexity in our projects, and we are looking for a strong profile to help with financial transparency in our largest projects. As a senior project controller, you will be part of our Finance department in KMD, but day to day you will work closely with the project team in the business. You will be responsible for all the financial numbers behind specific IT projects and act at a sparring partner for the business helping them monitor the projects, risk mitigation and reporting the numbers to both project group, customers, top management and our owners.

 

What you will be doing:

When working as Senior Project Controller you will be responsible for the financial numbers behind large projects, and your main tasks includes:

  • Ensuring financial transparency on large projects,
  • Month-end-close, forecast and budgeting,
  • Cost controlling and FTE controlling,
  • Sparring partner / business partner for the project and top management,
  • Foreseeing risks and opportunities and thereby enabling mitigating actions,
  • Manage a diverse number of stakeholders e.g. Project leaders, product specialists, people managers, the executive vice president for the business area, but also our CFO, our owners NEC along with internal and external accountants,
  • Understand the contracts made with the customers,
  • Create and update business cases for the projects.

 

What we expect from you:

  • Minimum five years of experience with working as a project controller in a large company,
  • Master’s degree in finance,
  • Strong financial and analytical skills,
  • Self-driven with an initiative taking approach, you can work independent,
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills,
  • Are motivated by working with large excel models but also work as a sparring partner for the project group and top management.
